This beautiful young lady is seeking her forever trail partner!  She is a 4 y/o, Cremello (hazel eyes, not blue) TWH mare that stands nearly 15 hh and is naturally gaited. She would be an excellent trail, ACTHA, Field Trial Prospect.  We are seeking to place her with someone who has experience with young/green horses, gaited horses and NHT - if you are seeking a special partnership with a sweet and gorgeous girl please contact us! Arabella's Story:
One of our board members has watched this girl grow up from a tiny newborn foal, she has witnessed the lack of care Arabella has received and has thwarted many attempts by her uneducated owner to mishandle her.  Each winter she thins down to bones but picks back up in summer of course and each year she has tried every way to get him to release or sale Arabella but he wouldn't budge.....until this summer.  Arabella had a puncture wound that was going untreated and she was getting worse everyday with ongoing infection, and whatever else that was being untreated and lack of good nutrition and care she was getting weaker.  This lady finally was able to convince the owner to release Arabella!

We went to pick her up - Arabella has been loved and handled by this woman but had never received any formal training (even to lead) and had never left the field she was raised in....she willingly came to this lady with me, haltered and followed me down the road to the waiting trailer.  After just 5 minutes of letting her investigate the trailer and ramp she walked on and was quiet in the trailer's box stall all the way to RCAR.

Upon arriving at RCAR she unloaded (wide-eyed) but trusting and led off the trailer cautiously but willingly.  She leads well and comes running when you call her in her grass paddock.  She spends hours each day during her turnout playing and running in her field (she was never able to do this before do to the rough mountain steep field she grew up in)!

She is UTD on coggins, vaccines, deworming, farrier and is looking and feeling great!  Arabella is ready to find her new FOREVER HOME!

• Be familiar and use NHT (Natural Horsemanship) Training Methods (Lyons, Clinton Anderson, Parelli etc)
