A Silent Killer ~ Encysted Small Strongyles

Over the years parasites have become very resistant to the normal anthelmintic (de-wormer) treatment.  If you have a horse that just isn't gaining weight, or starting to loose weight, is dull and a little lethargic even though you are deworming regularily and giving the same feed you always have or even more - your horse could die from worms!  If you have any questions, talk to your veterinarian about the possibility of Encysted Small Strongyles!!
