RIP Celtic (1985-2012)

It has been a very sad week here at RCAR. Celtic has been a steady joyful presence at the farm for many years. He bravely battled Navicular and many other leg/hoof issues over the years and though he lived a happy life here at the farm it was time to love him enough to free him from this life and let him go to the Rainbow Bridge to bask in the sun and play (pain-free) with friends. We will forever miss and love you!

Somewhere...Somewhere in time's Own Space
There must be some sweet pastured place
Where creeks sing on and tall trees grow
Some Paradise where horses go,
For by the love that guides my pen
I know great horses live again.
